Coming to Bendigo for a day trip from Melbourne, wanting to cure our hunger we went on over to Barzurk Cafe, The ambiance was good and was in excellent proximity to the Bendigo gallery. But that is as far as the pros about the eatery go. The service to be blunt was shocking! In my many years hitting the cafes for lunch I have never ever had to wait so long for my food. Ordering two BLT's and a pie took well over 1 hour! patrons who arrived later than us ate and left while we sat and waited. The staff were also less than apologetic too and seemed more interested in socialising with the passers by then getting the food moving. The food was less than impressive and not worth

The service is fair, the food is 'slightly up-market pub meal' and you certainly would not pay more for it if the prices went up, as suggested by other reviewers. However it is a better place to eat than its neighbour, GPO. But that's not saying much.

Bazurk is by far the best resturant cafe i have ever had a meal at. The food always comes out 100% I eat their at least once every couple of weeks I would eat every night if i could afford it. The meals are not expensive but I would pay more for it if the price ever went up. Bazurk take pride in customer service it is outstanding all staff including Matt the Manager are all their to make sure ur Bazurk experience is graet. Enjoy a main meal or entree the desserts are great and they have a great selection of wines. I would recommend anyone to try Bazurk at least once
